I Robert Sharland of the city of Bath in the County of Somerset Taylor being of sound mind memory and understanding do make publish and declare this to be my last will and Testament in manner following (That is to say) whereas I have already given my Son Abdiel Sharland sufficient Furniture to Furnish his Dwellinghouse and therefore I Give and Bequeath unto him the sum of Twenty pounds Also I Give and bequeath unto my Sons and Daughters Isaac George Harriet and Betsey Sharland the sum of One hundred and fifty pounds each Also I Give And bequeath unto my Daughter Mary Ann Sharland two hundred pounds All which Pecuniary Legacies I will and direct to be paid to each of my Children on arriving at their respective ages of twenty one years but in case any or either of them shall happen to die before attaining that age Then I will and Direct that the Legacy or Legacies as given to him her or them so dying shall fall into the residuum of my Personal Estate and be considered as part thereof and as to for and concerning all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever not hereinbefore specifically bequeathed I Give and bequeath the same unto my Dear wife Mary Sharland for and during the term of her natural life or widowhood Subject to the payment of my just Debts Funeral expenses and the Costs of proving this my will and from and immediately after her decease or Marriage which shall first happen I give and bequeath the same unto and equally between all my said Sons and Daughters share and share alike and I so hereby make and appoint my said wife Mary Sharland Sole Executrix of this my last will hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time heretofore made and do appoint Jacob Ferriss of the said City of Bath Grocer Guardian of each of my Children as shall not have attained the age of twenty one years at the time of the death of my wife In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the seventeenth day of September in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred
